The Beatles - I'm Looking Through You (Rubber Soul)
There are places I'll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All this places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life, I love you more
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life, I love you more
In my life-- I love you more
The Beatles - Anthology 2 - I'm Looking Through You (02:57)
Montage - Version from Anthology 2, recorded EMI studios, London, 24 October 1965. The Beatles spent
9 hours working on this, perfecting rhythm track and then overdubbing lead and harmony vocals. For 2
weeks the result was considered to be the master, until a remake was started on 6 November that
added the 2 'why, tell me why' choruses and caused this first version to remain unissued.
This music makes me cry with joy. I can't help it. Who needs drugs when you get the same good feeling from listening to their music. My god! I'm obsessed. i ONLY like teh Beatles and any other band is not worthy of their awesomeness. When they don't include the Beatles in a rock and roll documentary but the Kinks instead I shut off teh fucking tv and swared that if I watch it again i'm gonna go nuts.

sorry waffenshroodle but the beatles were the first among equals. I have their albums. singles etc but the other bands are part of it. Kinks, Yardbirds, Stones, Who, Small Faces and Procal Harum, Floyd and Yes are all part of the great ( and late) pop music renaissance. Listen to the Bands ( sorry I forgotthe Monkees) it's all over over thanks to Pop Idol etc.

Yes it's Paul. John couln't reach that note those days. That's the same reason why you hear Paul in "A Hard Days Night". With the time John gained more strength and elesticity on his vocal chords as you may notice in songs like "Don't Let Me Down".
